  I had my first experience with Granter's Pawn Shop in El Cerrito, CA, on 11-17-15. I felt welcomed and a sense of customer sensitivity from Chris, an extremely experienced and knowledgeable gemologist. Chris was very patient and explained to me what to look for when dealing with pawn shops. I was nervous and confused as to what to look for, ask for, or even what I wanted. He spent unlimited time with me to get a complete understanding of what my options were...greatly appreciated, Chris. I would rate my experience on a scale of one through ten, as a ten+! I will refer and hopefully return for business with Granter's. If you find yourself in a financial bind and have items of value, go to Granter's! Sincerely
